(9 July 2026, Hong Kong) nana’s green tea, Japan’s leading matcha café chain, celebrates its 25th anniversary with exclusive delights at its two Hong Kong branches. Available from now to 30 August 2026, the birthday offerings include premium matcha desserts created in collaboration with Yamamasa Koyamaen, a renowned Kyoto producer boasting 165 years of tea-making heritage, alongside a hearty rice dish.

The joyful summer of celebrations extends through Mid-Autumn with the premiere of the nana’s green tea Hong Kong mooncake gift box. Introducing four enticing flavours in vibrant Japanese-inspired packaging, this box of treats is a refreshing contemporary take on a beloved Chinese festival tradition, ideal for sharing with family, friends and business associates.

Celebrating 25 Years of Matcha Excellence with Limited-Time Anniversary Specials

Since opening in Tokyo in 2001, nana’s green tea has championed authentic Japanese tea culture through a modern café experience. Today it serves exquisite matcha-flavoured drinks, desserts and savoury dishes in a blissful atmosphere across more than 70 outlets in Japan and 18 international branches spanning Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, the United States and Canada.

Joining hands with historic tea farmer Yamamasa Koyamaen from Uji in south Kyoto, the spiritual home of matcha, nana’s green tea Hong Kong unveils a limited-time 25th-anniversary menu, headlined by a trio of indulgent creations:

  • Matcha Cookie Milkshake with Chocolate Drizzle (HK$58)

  • Premium Matcha Parfait (HK$108)

  • Triple Matcha Soft Serve (HK$52)

Complementing the anniversary desserts is Korean-style Tuna Yukhoe Donburi with Onsen Egg (HK$158), a satisfying rice dish inspired by the yukhoe ‘sliced and raw’ presentation popular in Korean cuisine.
