(16 May 2025, Hong Kong) MINATO, an immersive haven of elevated Japanese dining nestled at Great Eagle Centre in the commercial heart of Wanchai, celebrates the summer vibe with new tantalising seasonal Weekend Torio Bento lunch sets presented in cool traditional earthenware, and fosters family togetherness on Father’s Day with lavish teppanyaki and kaiseki journeys. Free-flow premium sake is also available to elevate the enjoyment of the restaurant’s fresh seafood, sumptuous wagyu and sunny seasonal flavours.
MINATO’s calm and beautifully appointed dining areas and private teppanyaki rooms are ideal retreats as the sun beats down outside. The restaurant name, which conjures a spirit of cultural exchange in a safe harbour, is particularly apt during the summer holiday season. Under the auspices of the Langham Hospitality Group, skilled chefs blend authentic Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary artistry to present wonderful teppanyaki, omakase and kaiseki experiences for guests.
Lighter Artisanal Torio Bento Brunch and Free-Flow Sake Spell Joyous Summer Weekends
Introduced in February and exclusively available at weekends and public holidays (12 noon to 2:30 p.m.), the popular Torio Bento lunch (HK$388 per person including appetiser and dessert or coffee) will be refreshed from 31 May 2025 for the summer months. Housed in a 3-tier globe-shaped porcelain jubako box that opens to reveal glorious colours and light, seasonal dishes, it is the ideal repast for the hot weather. Diners have a choice of 2 sets, limited to 20 servings per day, hence advance reservations are recommended. The Group’s Brilliant by Langham loyalty programme discount cannot be used for this lunch.
